Is Google Chrome taking too long to load a website or search? This is because Chrome may be configured to access the internet through web proxy. Google Chrome relies in some Internet Properties settings. When you start Google Chrome or try to get to a website, at the bottom-left corner of the window, you will see a message that says: Resolving proxy…, this one will stay for a while and then your website will load.

Instructions

  1. Start Google Chrome
  2. Click the Tools menu (1st) and Select Options (2nd). See image 1.

Click image to expand. Image 2. 4. The Internet Properties window will open.In the Connections tab look for the Local Area Network (LAN) settings and click LAN settings. See image 3.

Click image to expand. Image 3. 5. In Automatic configuration make sure that Automatically detect settings is unchecked — This is what is causing the problem. See image 4.

Click image to expand. Image 4. 6. Click OK in (see image 4), then click Apply and Ok again (see image 3), and finally click Close in. See image 2. It is done, Google Chrome should be able to load you website faster!
