If you are wondering, why a fridge? It all started when the company revealed the Xbox Series X for the first time, and then the internet started comparing the design to a refrigerator. After that, as a part of a marketing campaign, Microsoft created an Xbox Series X-shaped refrigerator, which then the company gave away. Then after the Xbox won a Twitter poll with Skittles, Microsoft promised to build a mini-fridge with an Xbox Series X shape. The Xbox Mini Fridge is an identical replica of the console with a black exterior and green interior. An obvious joke, the company is touting it to be “the world’s most powerful mini-fridge” and powered by the “Xbox Velocity Cooling Architecture” as the company uses these marketing points to promote the console. (See the video trailer on YouTube.) It’s a small fridge, but even though it’s unclear the capacity, it appears that the fridge will be capable of holding 10 12-ounce can of beverage. There’s no word on when exactly the fridge will be available or how much it will cost, but it is expected to launch by the holiday 2021 season.
