The first feature is the sidebar search option, which is a new experience designed to allow you to search for web content without having to switch to another tab. The feature works by selecting and right clicking the word or phrase selection and choosing the “Search in sidebar for” option to see the result in the sidebar. Microsoft is also partnering with Pinterest to bring suggestions to the Collections feature available on Microsoft Edge. Collections is a general-purpose tool designed to help you to easily collect text, images, videos, and other content into a note page, and in future updates, Pinterest suggestions will appear at the bottom of the page. In addition, with the new integration, users will be able to export their Collections to Pinterest. Furthermore, Microsoft Edge is also gaining an option to send Collections to OneNote. Alongside the new features, Microsoft has also been working to improve the Progressive Web Apps (PWA) support to make web apps feel more like native apps with the capability to show in the Start menu, and now, the apps can send and receive shared content.
