The Z51 will start shipping with Windows 8.1 in June, with the option of free upgrade to Windows 10, and customers will be able to purchase the new feature for an additional $100. The company is also announcing the Z41, but the only difference between the two is that the Z41 model doesn’t offer the option for the RealSense camera. However, both laptops will come with great hardware specs, such as 16GB of RAM, Intel latest Core i7, 1TB of local storage with the option of a solid state hybrid or traditional hard drive, and a display with 1920 x 1080 resolution. Keep in mind that the price of $599 for the Z51 with RealSense camera is only for the base model with 8GB of RAM and an Intel Core i5 processor. Lenovo didn’t reveal the price for the version of the laptop with 16GB of RAM and Core i7 processor. At Lenovo’s Tech World event, the ThinkPad 10 also got announced as the next gen of “business tablet”. It is a 10-inch Windows 10 (ready) device offering rapid battery charging with up to 10 hours of battery life and business-class security. The ThinkPad 10 is powered by an Intel Atom quad-core processor and internal storage capacity of up to 128GB. The ThinkPad 10 will start at $549 and customers can opt to get the full PC experience by purchasing the optional keyboard for $110 — just like Microsoft does with its Surface line. Finally, there is the ideapad 100, which is a laptop for those looking for only the essentials. This is an entry level Windows device featuring an Intel Bay Trail-M N3540 processor, up to 500GB of internal storage, integrated Intel graphics. For an entry level device, this laptop is very thin, measuring only 20.2-mm for the 14-inch and 22.6-mm for the 15-inch model.
