The Hyper for YouTube come with some nifty features, for example, you can easily download any video or sound track with a single tap or click, something you cannot do from the web version of the video service. Also you can set your default video stream resolution from standard definition, to 720p, or 1080p. I’ve been using the app for a few days now and it works very well, but if I have to call out some areas where improvements are needed, I would have to say that the back button should have to appear in all sections and not just when playing full screen videos, and it can be a bit confusing if you’re trying to search for a specific YouTube channel. Hyper for YouTube is partly a free Windows 8.1 app, you can download it from the Windows Store, watch and download videos. However, if you want to pin videos or channels, or you want to download multiple videos at once, or if you want to change the color theme, you have to pay for the pro version of the app, which cost $2.99.
